There are still more than 1 billion people in India who have yet to commit their lives to Jesus Christ. Many of them have yet to even hear the Good News. The need is overwhelming. Yet the Lord is powerful and the opportunities abound. We are excited to use this festival to make a strategic, eternal impact on individuals throughout the nation of India. Having accepted an invitation from the local church in Srikakulam, our desire is to train the local church leaders, proclaim the clear Gospel message, and lead thousands of individuals in public commitment to Jesus Christ.

During the next few months we will be preparing for this city-reaching, community-wide evangelistic festival in Srikakulam India, April 25-28.

Over the past several years, the Lord has opened doors for Matthew 10 Ministries to proclaim the Gospel message to hundreds of thousands of individuals in India. We have successfully accomplished 8 evangelistic festivals in 8 cities throughout the region. And the impact has been tremendous. We have seen God transform lives, impact cities, break down barriers, redefine stereotypes, and most of all… He has made His name known among the people. And now it's time to do it again.

Even after being there and witnessing a sea of people (stretched out over miles) singing and lifting up the name of Jesus, I can tell you that it is still very hard to comprehend all that took place while we were in Nigeria.

We were so graciously taken care of by Pastor Adoboye and his team. It was fantastic to be with our friends from India — Bishop Ernest Paul Komanapalli and his assistant. Up close and personal, we were given a glimpse of the goodness of our God and His desire to see mankind follow and worship Him. It was amazing for me to see firsthand what God can do with a life (Pastor Adoboye) that is completely surrendered and sold-out to Him. Just to see 2.5 million chairs set up under a roof stretching for miles was breathtaking. But, to witness it filled with people hungry for God’s touch is indescribable.

Thank you to all who kept us in your thoughts and prayers. I was able to catch a glimpse of the stars Abraham must have seen, and I humbly received the revelation of what God is about to pour out over the earth! This trip will shape the future of our work together for many years to come!

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14).

In Lagos, Nigeria at world's largest church. Over 2 million chairs set up, stretched over 2 miles. Estimated crowd by the weekend 4-5 million!

We have arrived in Lagos, Nigeria!  After a minor two hour delay and 19 hours of travel later – we are here.

This trip is a little different than most as it is just Tom Bennett and myself with Bishop Ernest and one of his associate pastors.  As we drove into the compound, we could instantly feel the tangible presence of God! 1.5 million chairs have been assembled and span across nearly 2 miles. We are here as guests of Pastor Adoboye. Only through my relationship with Bishop Ernest do I find myself here. I am here simply and humbly to glean and receive from these two powerful men of God.

It never ceases to amaze me at how selfless and what servant hearts christians seem to have around the world. It is always very humbling to be treated with such respect and honor.

I pray this week leaves me with a similar impartation to truly be the hands and feet of Jesus with compassion and a heart like His!

SUNDAY

This morning we had the privilege of joining one of the local congregations for their Sunday service. To experience the presence of God all over the world in the small huts to big stadiums is always fascinating to me – to know that God truly NEVER leaves us nor forsakes us!!

The pastor shared out of Isaiah 43:18-19

"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a NEW THING. Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

He shared about how God can and will change in a moment the direction of your life. Take that very thing you've been praying and believing for years for and grant it in a moment.  He prophesied that in 2012 – God is doing a NEW THING and because of His love for us (not because of what we've done or how much we've fasted and prayed), simply because of His unconditional love for us!

This is exactly what God has been speaking in my spirit. Quit striving and trying to fulfill the call of God on your life, simply BE STILL and know that I AM GOD! I am doing a NEW THING and you can be still and rest in Me!

Tomorrow evening is the first night of the meetings. May God impart not only to me, but to all of us a knowing in our spirit that He is doing a NEW THING & releasing SWEET BLESSINGS into our lives!
