His Voice Saves

If you’re a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, you might have wondered what the secret is to effectively sharing your faith. What really makes a difference? What will inspire someone to believe?

The answer? Hearing the voice of God.

John 10:2-3 (KJV) says:
“But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.”

And Jesus says of Himself in John 10:11:
“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”

Chances are, you might have tried sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with someone who wasn’t interested. No matter what you said, no matter how well you gave your testimony, or how well-thought out your arguments were, they simply would not believe. The Bible says that no one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws Him (John 6:44) – but it also says that the one who comes to Him, He will by no means cast out (John 6:37).

In reality, human effort can do nothing to save anyone. Only a real encounter with the voice of God will make that kind of a change – by hearing, by listening, and by obeying.

If you are hearing His voice right now, listen, obey, and come to Jesus in faith – He won’t turn you away.

Please check for updates on my blog to learn more about listening to and fellowshipping with the voice of God. I’ll share more elements from my book, Fellowshipping with His Voice, on a weekly basis. I pray that it’s a blessing and encouragement to you!
